CLEAN WATER
A borehole that changed everything
Access to clean water and safe infrastructure is essential for the health and wellbeing of every child at Mushunga. Thanks to generous donations, a clean water source has been found and secured at the farm.
The borehole now serves the farm, the orphanage and the school with a clean, plentiful supply — replacing unsafe surface water and freeing the children from long daily walks to fetch water.
The water project is now complete — every child in our care has reliable access to clean water.
PROJECT COMPLETE
The pipeline now reaches the school
Following patient negotiations with neighbouring landowners and local leaders, agreements were secured to route the pipes through their land. The community trust built over many years made this possible.
The pipeline is now fully installed and operational, delivering clean borehole water to the school for the children's daily drinking, cooking, washing and sanitation needs.
