This website is operated by Mushunga, Ibanda Children UK Charity, a charity registered in England and Wales (Charity No. 1215211). By accessing or using this site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes, and not to:

3. Donations and sponsorships
Donations and child sponsorships made through this website (including via our Donorbox link) support the general charitable work of Mushunga, Ibanda Children UK Charity in Uganda. By donating you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old and authorised to use the payment method provided.

You understand that funds are pooled to deliver our programmes (orphan care, education at Victorious Community School, food, water, healthcare and farm sustainability).

Where possible, sponsorship gifts are directed to the named child's care, but the charity reserves the right to redirect funds to other children or programme needs if circumstances change (for example, if a child leaves the programme).

Donations are non-refundable except where required by law or our Refunds approach below.
4. Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer and complete a Gift Aid declaration, we will reclaim tax on your eligible donations through HMRC. You must pay enough UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the relevant tax year to cover the amount we reclaim; otherwise it is your responsibility to pay any difference to HMRC.
5. Refunds
If you make a donation in error, or set up a recurring gift you wish to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. We will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in line with Charity Commission and Fundraising Regulator guidance.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, photographs of the children and project sites, videos and design — is owned by or licensed to Mushunga, Ibanda Children UK Charity. You may view, download and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
7. Photographs of children
Images of the children and beneficiaries of the project are shared with the consent and in line with our safeguarding policy. They must not be downloaded, edited or shared in any way that could compromise the dignity, privacy or safety of the children involved.
8. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites (such as Donorbox, social media platforms and partner organisations). We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those sites. Following any link is at your own risk.
9. Accuracy of information
We take reasonable care to ensure that information about our work, projects and financials is accurate and up to date. However, the website is provided "as is" and we make no warranties about completeness, reliability or fitness for any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mushunga, Ibanda Children UK Charity, its trustees, staff and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website.
