Partnerships that build sustainable change
Corporations, foundations and philanthropists working alongside our team to deliver measurable outcomes for children and families in Mushunga, Uganda.
ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP

A different way of working with charity partners
Mushunga was founded to prove that overseas charitable giving can be as disciplined, transparent and outcome-focused as any other line item on a corporate budget. We are a UK registered charity (no. 1215211), governed by an international board of trustees, with a long-standing operational team on the ground in Mushunga, western Uganda.
Our partners include corporations building out their Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental, Social and Governance programs, family foundations, high-net-worth donors, and grant-making trusts. What they share is a preference for long-term, evidence-based partnerships over one-off gifts — and a willingness to invest in the systems, people, and infrastructure that enable sustainable development.
Every partnership begins with a conversation, not a pitch deck. We want to understand the outcomes your organization aims to achieve before we recommend a program, budget, or reporting cadence.
WHY PARTNER WITH MUSHUNGA
A partner your board and
stakeholders can trust
We work with corporations, foundations and philanthropists who want visible outcomes, not vague sponsorship. Every commitment is documented, measured and reported.
Measurable social impact
Every partnership is defined by KPIs — enrolment, liters of clean water, harvest yield, livelihoods created — and reported to your team.
Transparent reporting
UK charity accounts, quarterly narrative reports, and photography your CSR and comms teams can use with confidence.
Strong local leadership
A trusted team on the ground in Ibanda, working alongside a UK board of trustees who sign off every partnership.
Sustainable development
We invest in education, water systems, farms and livelihoods — infrastructure that outlasts any single funding cycle.
ESG alignment
Programs mapped to UN SDGs 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8. Suitable for ESG reports, impact frameworks and B-Corp evidence.
CSR opportunities
From naming a classroom to co-funding a borehole, we build partnerships that fit your CSR strategy and budget cycle.
Employee engagement
Volunteering days, matched giving, lunch-and-learns with trustees, and content packs for internal comms.
Long-term partnership
We prefer multi-year commitments where possible — designed to build resilient outcomes for the communities we serve.
PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Five ways to partner with us
Choose a focus area, or work with our trustees to design a bespoke, multi-year partnership. Every model is agreed in writing with defined KPIs and a reporting schedule.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
Multi-year partnerships, quarterly conversations
The partnerships that create the biggest change are the ones that last. Wherever possible, we build partnerships around a three-year horizon — long enough to invest properly in infrastructure and staffing, and short enough to renew against fresh strategic priorities.
Within that horizon, the relationship is active. A named UK trustee is your primary contact. Quarterly reports go directly to your Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental, Social and Governance, or comms lead. Ad-hoc requests — an extra data point for a stakeholder Annual General Meeting, a photo for an internal campaign, a speaker for an Employee Resource Group event — are handled inside the same relationship.
We also actively welcome scrutiny. Every partner is invited to visit the project, meet the team in Mushunga, and see the work in progress. Nothing on this site is polished for show — it's how the programs actually run.
